London | A US law firm will offer starting salaries of at least £70,000 ($136,000) to trainee solicitors at its London office as British rivals remain under pressure in the war for talent.
Davis Polk, which is headquartered in New York, has increased salaries for its most inexperienced employees to £65,000 in their first year, jumping to £70,000 in their second year.
