Deloitte director ordered to repay firm $3m in sham expenses scandal

A Deloitte director accused of claiming at least $3 million in “sham” work expenses from the firm and clients to fund his lavish lifestyle has agreed to repay the consultancy in full.

Deloitte launched a case against Paul Quill – who it has since dismissed – earlier this month over an alleged “elaborate and long-running fraudulent scheme”, with the Federal Court approving a $3.1 million order against the restructuring director on Tuesday night.
