Courts impose limit of eight as Singo's son-in-law tests positive

The Family Court and Federal Circuit Court will restrict the number of people inside a courtroom to eight and delay all “non-urgent” matters as they scale back operations.

The announcement on Wednesday morning followed a decision to close the central Sydney home of both courts, the Lionel Bowen Building on Goulburn Street, on Tuesday after being notified that a lawyer who attended hearings at the complex last week had tested positive to COVID-19. The building reopened on Wednesday.
