OceanaGold stung by fresh sovereign risk in Philippines

OceanaGold shares shed almost 12 per cent of their value on Friday after the company was hit by fresh regulatory turbulence in the Philippines.
The company's Didipio copper and gold mine was brought to a halt this week after the governor of the nearby province of Nueva Vizcaya ordered the mine's operations be restrained.
