Nickel boss says Indonesia trying to distance itself from China

Indonesia may restrict more Chinese investment in its nickel sector, according to one of the biggest producers of the battery and stainless-steel ingredient operating in the South-East Asian nation.
Nickel Industries managing director Justin Werner said on Wednesday that Indonesia wanted to attract more Western investment in nickel and not become reliant on China.
