Chalice on the slow tracks at Julimar

Drilling at one of Australia’s most anticipated critical minerals targets has been delayed by community concern for a forest, slowing Chalice Mining’s plan to grow its Julimar discovery on the outskirts of Perth.

Appeals against Chalice’s permit to drill in the Julimar State Forest combined on Tuesday with fears of an economic slowdown in China to drag Chalice shares down by more than 10 per cent to a seven-month low.
