In the mind of Jean-Sebastien Jacques, Rio Tinto's name belonged up in lights beside some of the world's biggest and most powerful brands.
Where others saw BHP as the competition, he named Facebook and Google as Rio's opponents in the race to secure the world's brightest young minds, while Apple Corporation, Nespresso and Amazon were secured as partners on niche projects.
