Cathy O’Connor had planned to study law at university because she didn’t know what else to do, but fate stepped in and instead she applied for the “more interesting” communications course, setting her on a course that would eventually land her in the boardroom of oOh!Media.

O’Connor entered the industry with a part-time job with a media monitoring company in a building just down the road from the one she now occupies on Miller Street in North Sydney as CEO of listed outdoor advertising company oOh!Media.
