Think back to your favourite live music experience – there’s been little choice lately but to think back to it – and chances are it involved the 73-year-old walking slowly but steadily up Woolloomooloo Finger Wharf on Sydney Harbour, bang on the 1pm stage time for our lunch at Otto Ristorante.
Michael Chugg, known to all in the music business as Chuggi, began his career as a tour manager for promoter Paul Dainty in the 1970s, when he shepherded Fleetwood Mac through blizzards of coke and ABBA through hysterical crowds.
