Auditor Deloitte says two class actions and US legal proceedings brought by key supplier Blue Diamond mean Freedom Foods Group is facing material uncertainty that may cast significant doubt on the group’s ability to continue as a going concern.

While the UHT milk and plant-based drinks manufacturer’s recent complex recapitalisation saved the company from going under, Freedom is still facing several legal proceedings and a continuing investigation by the corporate regulator over allegations that it breached continuous disclosure and financial reporting obligations.
