Macquarie Atlas Roads suffers loss
Macquarie Atlas Roads aims to begin paying dividends to security holders even as it reports a full-year net loss of $142.5 million.
Macquarie Atlas Roads , the owner of tollroads in Europe and the US, said it hoped to start making dividend payments to security holders in the near future as it reported a 5.4 percent rise in proportionate EBITDA to $550.9 million for 2010.
On a statutory basis, Macquarie reported a net loss of $142.5 million because of accounting losses on non-controlled investments.
