With emotion as obvious as it is untypical, Chris Corrigan told his Qube Holdings shareholders that the recovery of his port legacy marked a moment appropriate for the handover of the chairmanship of the vehicle of his second coming on the Australian waterfront.

Corrigan told Thursday's Qube annual meeting that he will hand over to long-time Patrick colleague and wildly successful independent coal investor Allan Davies. He plans to stand down around June next year.
