Waste management group Bingo Industries is eyeing acquisitions in Queensland to build a third arm in its eastern states operations and says the construction market from which it collects demolition waste in New South Wales and Victoria is showing signs of improvement.

Bingo chief executive Daniel Tartak said the company would be highly disciplined in assessing acquisitions in Queensland, but would have its distinctive orange-coloured trucks on the road in the northern state anyway in the next few months to service customers.
