$300b infrastructure blitz at risk from skills, raw materials shortage

National cabinet is being urged to adopt a federal strategy to co-ordinate $300 billion in state-based infrastructure projects, amid fears a shortage of bidders, skills and raw materials will lead to cost blowouts and delays.

Analysis by The Australian Financial Review shows a pipeline of $300 billion new state-based infrastructure projects announced in the latest state and federal budgets.
