Monash IVF expects patients to defer treatment amid pandemic

Hopeful couples looking to have a baby through treatment at the nation's second-largest fertility services provider, Monash IVF Group, may need to wait as COVID-19 hits the healthcare system.

The company signalled on Wednesday that it did expect fertility activity to be affected after the Fertility Society of Australia revised its position – it now recommends that those planning to start fertility treatment consult their specialist and discuss the option of postponing it.
