Cogstate signs record number of contracts in 2014
Cogstate’s full-year total of $US20.1 million in contracts in 2014 was well ahead of the $US4.8 million achieved in the previous corresponding period.
During the six months to December 31, 2014, Cogstate signed clinical trials sales contracts totalling $US13.4 million, representing a record for the company. The full-year total of $US20.1 million was also well ahead of the $US4.8 million achieved in the previous corresponding period.
The group focuses on the development and commercialisation of rapid, computerised testing of cognition. Its operations cover a number of segments including clinical drug trials, issues surrounding sports-related concussion and the assessment of cognition, particularly focusing on factors which could point to early-stage neuro-degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
