Stake.com to quit Britain after Bonnie Blue video controversy

Australia’s Stake.com will leave the United Kingdom within weeks after the online casino operator was cautioned by the gambling regulator over social media videos by an adult content creator that endorsed its brand.

Stake.com was started by Ed Craven and his business partner Bijan Tehrani. The success of its online slots and virtual table games has propelled Craven’s wealth. The Financial Review Rich List last year estimated the Melbourne-based businessman now has a fortune of $4.51 billion.
