Packer had 'particular interest' in VIP program: Craigie

Former Crown Resorts chief executive Rowen Craigie has closely linked James Packer to Crown's controversial high-roller VIP business in China, telling an inquiry Mr Packer took a "particular interest" in the program but only in sessions immediately following board meetings.

Mr Craigie said Mr Packer was well acquainted with Crown's lucrative VIP gaming business in China but claimed neither of them was aware – and nor was the board – of issues leading up to the arrests of Crown's staff in China in October 2016.
