Refunds to flow as discount breaches mount for insurers

RACQ, an organisation writing more than $1 billion in premiums, has admitted a breach to the corporate regulator about insurance discounts, and says customers will be in line for refunds.

It is the latest insurer to be caught up in such blunders and comes with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission warning the sector to scour internally for problems.
