Mawhinney pitches $1b fund target in hiring advert

Investment spruiker James Mawhinney, who is battling regulators, has laid out plans to raise $1 billion over three years as the company he controls seeks to recruit a head of credit.

Australian Income Solutions is “targeting a loan book of $500 million to $1 billion within three years”, which the recruiting advertisement said would provide the candidate with “the opportunity to get in at the ground floor”.
