Christopher Hill and the foreign exchange broker who reported him to authorities met up at a Melbourne pub last month for an unlikely “blind date”, which may lead to a new career for the convicted insider trader.

Joel Murphy, who runs the broker EightCap, offered Hill a role in the firm’s risk management department after being impressed by his honesty during the first six episodes of The Sure Thing podcast.
