ASX to cut jobs as it grapples with cost pressures, regulatory woes

Exchange operator ASX has started axing about 100 jobs across its business, accelerating efforts to reduce costs and redirect investment as the company navigates intense regulatory pressure.

The ASX kicked off the redundancy round on Monday and started consulting employees whose roles are affected, with final headcount decisions expected next week, according to sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
