Leading scientists, including Peter Singer, Lesley Hughes and David Karoly, are demanding UniSuper use its 9 per cent holding in APA Group to push the company to stop plans to develop gas pipelines in the Beetaloo Basin.

More than 1000 members of the $140 billion industry super fund have signed a letter to its board demanding it leverage its influence over APA, saying it would fail to meet its own climate action promises.
