BHP chair-elect Ken MacKenzie meets investors, promises strong capital focus

Australian institutional shareholders have welcomed Ken MacKenzie's unusual step of meeting with big investors before starting in his role as BHP chairman, and have urged him to improve BHP's capital management and communication with shareholders.
Mr MacKenzie, the respected former Amcor chief executive, begins as BHP's chairman in September, replacing Jac Nasser.
