Why China is hesitant to fire its stimulus bazooka

China bulls want stimulus, and quick. But three big roadblocks stand in the way. 

Nick Ferres, the chief investment officer of macro fund Vantage Point, neatly sums up the action on China’s equity markets: too fast, too furious.

The rise in China-related equities and commodities, including iron ore and copper following the apparent pivot towards stimulus from the People’s Bank of China last month was stunning, but Ferres says it always looked large, impulsive and emotional.
