Westpac crowns a new king of advice

Chanticleer is Australia's pre-eminent business column.

When Westpac withdrew from financial advice at a cost to shareholders of up to $300 million it crowned a new king of financial advice in Australia, a former Westpac employee, Glenn Calder.

Calder, who started his financial advisory career at AMP and left Westpac four years ago, is well known in the world of  financial advice because of his long-term commitment to ethical conduct and the unique business model at his firm, Viridian Advisory.
