It is fortunate the federal government does not run the fleets of buses spewing out diesel fumes as they transport Australians around our capital cities.

If it did, we would surely be stuck with these carbon emitters for decades given we have not followed the lead of 17 other developed economies that have issued deadlines for internal combustion engine bans or ambitious vehicle electrification targets.
