Under-the-radar private credit boutique Alceon snaffles a big name former Goldman Sachs banker. It’s a very 2024 story.

Peak private credit is throwing up all sorts of unexpected manoeuvring – add succession planning at exclusive Sydney investment firm Alceon to the list.

Alceon’s financier founders – Trevor Loewensohn, Phil Green and Morris Symonds – are taking on a fourth and younger partner, hoping it sets their firm up for a new chapter that could one day see it outlast its founders.
