‘Giddy’: Billionaire line-up shows what’s at the heart of Trump 2.0

It might wind up being the most iconic picture from one of the most stage-managed, symbol-rich presidential inaugurations in living memory.

As Donald Trump took the oath of office in Washington, four of the most powerful men in global business – Meta Platforms founder Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Alphabet chief executive Sundar Pichai and Tesla founder Elon Musk – were given positions of extraordinary prominence, essentially on par with Trump’s cabinet.
