MA Financial’s big shift raises two fascinating questions
While Andrew Pridham’s firm’s roots are in investment banking, its growth is being made possible by the disruption of the commercial banking sector.
When a company changes its name or logo, the big winners are usually the brand consultants employed to pick the right shade of blue. But such changes invariably signify an important shift in the way the company sees itself, and how it wants the market to see it.
So it is at MA Financial, which changed its name from Moelis Australia in June 2021, and has just launched a new logo (yes, it’s blue) to take the group to the masses.
