Sydney’s lockdown is another horrible blow for the sectors hit hardest by the pandemic, such as education, tourism, hospitality and the industry that sits across this trio: events.

Australia’s events sector is already reeling from 15 months of seismic change, but the latest lockdown will cause a fresh wave of disruption that will weigh on the confidence of event organisers, sponsors and participants for months to come.
