Inside the secret school for ASX CEOs
Chanticleer has been given a rare look inside the invite-only course for new ASX 150 CEOs, which is the brainchild of BHP chairman Ken MacKenzie.
The first exercise for pupils at the exclusive training program for ASX chief executives replicates the last thing they’ll do as a leader: give their retirement speech.
It is partly about breaking the ice and partly introducing the cohort of between four and six CEOs to each other. But mainly it’s about getting the new CEOs to open up over dinner on the first night of the two-day course, and think beyond the daily struggles that come with their new role.
