There’s a kind of other-worldliness about Peter Dutton’s new campaign against price gouging that’s hard to get your head around.
Just a week ago, US presidential candidate Kamala Harris was rightly criticised by conservatives after using her speech at the Democratic National Convention to call for a ban on grocery price gouging – effectively price controls. Republican candidate Donald Trump responded with a bit of classically unfunny schtick, labelling her “Comrade Kamala”.
