Bitcoin coming to the ASX will open investors up to a whole new world of pumpers, spruikers and shonks, all out to make a buck at someone else’s expense.
In case investors weren’t already struggling to steer clear of listed market minefields, they will have cryptocurrency on the menu from Thursday when the first bitcoin ETF – marketed by VanEck – makes its debut.
