Donald Trump’s return to the White House will not derail the energy transition, but policy uncertainty in Australia is making it harder to invest.
That’s the view of senior energy industry figures, including Climate Change Authority chairman Matt Kean, who used the Financial Review Business Summit to attack Coalition policies, describing its nuclear plans as a “fantasy” and its uncertainty on climate targets as “chilling” to investment.
