SANFL Development Leagues live stream replays: Glenelg v North Adelaide U13 and U14 boys

The next generation of Tigers and Roosters have takent to the field at Glenelg Oval in the SANFL Development Leagues on Friday night.

Action from the under-13 and under-14 boys matches between Glenelg and North Adelaide was exclusively live streamed here on The Advertiser website.

The Tigers were terrific in the under-13 clash to open the night, prevailing in a big win at home over the Roosters.

Glenelg then made it a double by overcoming the visitors in the under-14 clash as well.

The SANFL Development Leagues, which feature under-13, 14 and 15 boys as well as under-14 and 16 girls competitions, are the first stepping stones in the pathway to senior state league football.

The Advertiser will live stream weekly matches from the competition for the first time in 2022.

Friday night football under lights at Glenelg Oval is the perfect way to introduce the next generation of Tigers to the club, according to talent manager Darren Trevena.

Glenelg will host North Adelaide in the SANFL Development Leagues under-13 and under-14 boys matches this Friday – and both games will be live streamed here by The Advertiser.

Trevena said the development squads were a good start towards the junior players gaining an understanding of the club.

They’ve also had the chance to rub shoulders with one of their heroes.

“We’ve had our (men’s) captain Max Proud come to speak to the under-13 boys, take them around the ground and into the main changeroom,” Trevena said.

“They were pretty pumped up about that.

“They also get all their club gear and there’s certainly an air of excitement when they get to step onto the league oval under lights.”

Glenelg and North Adelaide will clash in the under-13 game at 7pm, followed by the under-14 contest at 8.20pm on Friday night.

The live streamed matches on advertiser.com.au are part of a season-long commitment to bringing SANFL footy from the men’s, women’s and underage competitions to screens wherever you are.

North Adelaide talent manager Neil Sanders said it was great to see the next wave of young Roosters coming through the ranks.

“Brenton Phillips coaches our under-13s, which is great, and at this age level its really just about development and seeing how they progress,” Sanders said.
