Adelaide’s Jessica Dover, who appeared on Channel 7’s home renovation reality show in 2018 with her then partner, former Crow Jared Petrenko, has confirmed her rumoured romance with actor Daniel MacPherson.

Dover, who was the face of the 2019 Adelaide Cup and is now signed with IMG in Sydney, has gone Instagram official with the relationship, sharing a photograph of herself and MacPherson at the races in Sydney captioned “heart is calm” with her 67,500 followers.

The post has been a hit with other Adelaide A-listers including AFLW player turned footy commentator Abby Holmes and wife of the Power’s Jeremy Finlayson, Kellie Finlayson who is also signed with The Models who recently won The Advertiser Foundation Inspiration Award at The Advertiser, Sunday Mail and SkyCity Woman of the Year Awards for her resolve to raise awareness of bowel cancer as she fights the disease.

Marijana Radmanovic from interstate agency Vivien’s Models suggested the match is not exactly new with her comments: “Finally the soft launch” and “love birds! X”

P.E Nation designer Pip Edwards also commented with the telling words “You two”.

MacPherson’s small screen credits include Foundation, Strike Back, Neighbours, The Bill, Wild Boys, alongside his now former wife actor Zoe Ventoura.

MacPherson and Ventoura, who broke up in 2020 after five years of marriage, co-parent their son Austin in Sydney.

Dover, who is also a primary school teacher, separated from Petrenko, with whom she shares a son Sebastian, in 2021.

MacPherson also recently starred in Russell Crowe’s Poker Face and Land of Bad with Liam Hemsworth, which was filmed on the Gold Coast. He has also been in LAm preparing to play a retired MMA fighter in Beast In Me.
