Actor Dan MacPherson and former House Rules star Jessica Dover have quietly started a new romance.
The glamour couple were snapped together recently at the races but have yet to publicly confirm their relationship.
Foundation and Strike Back star MacPherson split from wife and fellow actor Zoe Ventoura in 2020 after five years of marriage. They co-parent their son Austin in Sydney.
Dover appeared on Channel 7’s renovation series House Rules in 2018 with her then partner, Adelaide Crows footballer Jared Petrenko.
The primary school teacher and model shares a son Sebastian with the former forward who she separated from in 2021.
MacPherson posted on Tuesday that he was proud of Dover after she announced a new jewellery collaboration.
MacPherson recently starred in Russell Crowe’s Poker Face and upcoming release Land of Bad filmed on the Gold Coast with Liam Hemsworth. He just spent two weeks in LA preparing for a new lead role as a retired MMA fighter in Beast In Me, directed by Tyler Atkins.
After filming in Queensland he dedicated three months to fatherhood and recharging.
“I wanted to be present, present in myself to be attentive to all the things that mattered,’’ he said.
“The reward for all the focus. It was full of joy, laughter, experience, trust, hugs, more laughter, the warmest cuddles and lots and lots of love. Every second of hard work and sacrifice was repaid 10 fold. Fatherhood has been an intense and incredible navigation, and the adventure just gets better and better.”
Dover is popular on the social scene in Adelaide and describes herself as a social media content creator.
She says her House Rules experience inspired her passion for home interiors and design.
