The rumour mill is in overdrive as AC/DC fans speculate whether the iconic rock band will tour Australia, stopping off in Adelaide to headline another major event.

The rumour mill is in full spin with speculation that AC/DC will tour Australia in November this year.
While there has been no official announcement or release of Australian tour dates, The Herald Sun reported that “rumours have been quietly swirling in Melbourne music circles” suggesting AC/DC will perform at the MCG – with hopes that this could suggest a full Aussie tour with a stop in Adelaide.
The hypothetical concert would mark the first time in 10 years that Acca Dacca has visited Australia.
A November concert could also coincide with the bp Adelaide Grand Final, which will zoom into Adelaide from November 27–30.
SA Motorsport Board announced on Tuesday that Lenny Kravitz will perform at the Saturday concert of the Adelaide Supercars event and while they could not comment on fan rumours, encouraged potential racegoers to stay tuned for further entertainment announcements.
In 2015 the iconic rock band played to almost 53,000 devoted fans at Adelaide Oval on the Rock or Bust World Tour.
When contacted by The Advertiser, Adelaide Oval media said it was unable to comment on speculation of another concert hitting South Australia this year.
The band behind hits like Thunderstruck and Highway to Hell is currently on the European leg of the Power Up Tour.
