House Rules stars Jared Petrenko and Jess Dover have put their reality TV home on the market - as they share some sad personal news.

Former House Rules stars Jared Petrenko and Jess Dover have separated and are selling the West Beach home they renovated on the reality TV show.

It’s understood the popular Adelaide couple, who welcomed their first child together, Sebastian, just nine months ago, parted ways earlier this year.

Dover shared the sad news in a touching Mother’s Day Instagram post over the weekend.

“You, my Sebby have given me more strength and resilience than I ever knew I had. Today isn’t how I imagined my first Mother’s Day to be but I know as long as I have you, everything will be okay. Just you and me,” the model and primary school teacher captioned two photos.

Petrenko, who played 76 matches for the Crows between 2008 and 2014, and Dover starred on Channel 7’s hit renovation series in 2018.

The glamour couple’s New York loft-style home at 2 Rio Vista Ave hit the market this month, almost three years after it was overhauled by six other teams of contestants on House Rules.

It is listed without a price tag and set to go under the hammer on May 22.

Dover declined to comment when contacted and The Advertiser has reached out to Petrenko.

The face of the 2019 Adelaide Cup, Dover and her House Rules co-star said at the time that the reality TV experience had only brought them closer together.

“The journey has been nothing short of amazing,” said Dover in July 2018.

“It has taught us so much about ourselves, our relationship and what we want for our future.”

“We’re so ready for everything else that’s to come. Hashtag baby Petrenko.”

Petrenko added: “Fortunately for Jess and I it brought us closer together.

“Going through this competition has taught me one thing and that is that I have certainly got the right girl beside me.”

They revealed their exciting baby news on Instagram last year, sharing a photo of the pair holding up a sonogram with their dog Barney making an appearance in the background.

When Sebastian was born last year, Dover, who was part of the Miss Universe Australia competition in 2019, wrote: “And in a moment our world changed forever … SEBASTIAN PATRICK PETRENKO arrived at 12.44am Thursday, August 6th weighing 4.2kg. He is everything we dreamt of and more. We are absolutely besotted by you baby boy, thankyou for choosing us.”
