Former Bachelorette Becky Miles finds love on dating app

The former Bachelorette star may have been unlucky in love on the reality series, but she’s finally got the fairytale she was hoping for.

It took time but Becky Miles has finally got the fairytale she was hoping for.

The unlucky in love star of the last season of The Bachelorette is six months in to a relationship with air traffic controller, James, who would prefer to keep his last name private.

“I am really happy,” Miles told Confidential.

“It is refreshing to be in a relationship with someone who gives as much as I do. In the past I think it has probably been a little bit one-sided so it is nice to be with someone who makes you feel safe and secure and loves me correctly. There is no sneaky stuff, no half love, no extra females, which has been the case in the past. It is just me and him and we are a really great team.”

Becky and sister Elly were a double act on last year’s The Bachelorette, both finding partners on the show but subsequently breaking up.

The 31-year-old followed her heart to choose Pete Mann, only for him to break up with her four days later. Elly meanwhile went with Frazer Neate but later separated.

Having met James, 32, on dating app Hinge, the couple are already talking about marriage and kids.

“It is 100 per cent a fairytale,” she said. “It has taken a while to find someone who has been Mr Right and he is all of that and more. He fits in with my friends and family and it is just so easy. It is pretty serious.”

As for her time on The Bachelorette, Becky, who works as a consultant, said she had no regrets despite the unhappy ending.

“I learnt a lot about myself, what I want in a partner,” she explained.

“I realised how resilient I am as a woman as well. That kind of experience can be really quite stressful and I am really proud of myself for how I have been able to bounce back and come out of that.”
