Victoria's top goalkickers so far in 2021 have been confirmed.

They are the key forwards who have booted the most goals in Victoria’s metro and country football leagues so far this season.

From new recruits to veterans and former AFL champions, these are the goalkickers who get the glory — week-in, week-out.

And with sport on hold across the state, there's never been a better time to celebrate the weapons of Victorian football.

Here’s who has kicked the most goals across the state so far.

Joshua Mellington (Violet Town) – 110 goals

A former Fremantle forward, Mellington brought up the ton with 27 goals against Tallygaroopna just a few weeks ago. The forward has kicked double figures on five occasions this season — and his 2021 figures are simply ridiculous.

Anthony Zelencich (Carisbrook) – 78 goals

Zelencich has been a sensational recruit in his return to the Maryborough District League having booted double figures three times.

Darcy Fristch (Coldstream) – 74 goals

The brother of Melbourne forward, Bailey, has been a sensation for his side this year, reaching double figures on three different occasions. The former Casey man kicked 20 majors in a game earlier in the year.

Gene Robinson (Millicent) – 72 goals

Opposition defenders have found it almost impossible to stop the Saints recruit who hasn’t been held goalless in a game.

Rhys Ford (Maldon) – 62 goals

After booting 91 goals two seasons ago, Ford will be desperate for play to resume as soon as possible as he chases the dream of a ton.

Lachlan Sharp (Strathfieldsaye) – 62 goals

Sharp grabbed headlines in 2019 after kicking a resounding 131 goals in 18 games. He has been just as impressive so far in 2021.

Matt Wetering (Springvale Districts) - 62 goals

After joining from VAFA club Parkdale Vultures in 2019, Wetering has been in stunning form this season to lead the division 2 Southern league goalkicking charts.

Kulin Morey (Cudgewa) – 61 goals

Morey sits 26 goals clear at the top of the six-team Upper Murray league goalkicking board. His figures include a 20-goal haul in the second half of the season.

Chase Strawhorn (Rennie) – 58 goals

With Rennie having just one win for the season it makes Strawhorn’s efforts all the more impressive.

Jack Purcell (Ashwood) - 58 goals

Purcell sits comfortably clear of the division three charts in the Southern league, 18 clear of his nearest opponent. Earlier this year, he booted 14 against South Mornington.

Samuel Dunstan (Hepburn) – 57 goals

Dunstan reached triple figures in 2019 and could quite easily do it again if enough games are to be played. He recorded a massive 20-goal haul earlier in the season.

The goalsneak has underlined his status as one of the premier forwards in the Bendigo league with another terrific season as he looks to chase down Strathfieldsaye’s Sharp.

Michael Fowkes (Powelltown) – 53 goals

One of the biggest signings heading into 2021, Fowkes hasn’t let his new side down with an impressive display of goalkicking.

The star recruit has been nothing but sensational in his new colours this season. He has booted double figures twice in a season which also includes bags of eight and nine.

Jaydon Stiles (Macorna) – 50 goals

Stopping Stiles has proven to be a difficult task for Golden Rivers league defenders with the star forward having booted less than four in a game, just twice.

Adam Donohue (Inverleigh) – 49 goals

Leads the Geelong and District league by just four goals with another break in play. Kicked 11 goals against Winchelsea earlier in the season.
