Since the White Horse Inn ceased trading, the Surveyor General is the only pub in Berrima. They've done a top job of researching and preserving the pub's history, with lots of informative wall hangings and displays from the old days. The inn's rustic Bushrangers Bistro is popular with locals and visiting groups thanks to cheap meals for the 15-and-unders, old faithfuls such as surf 'n' turf, and the chicken Berrima, a nicely executed (and disguised) parmigiana accompanied by crisp vegies and shoestring fries. Pull up at a booth or nab a picnic table on the verandah on warmer weekends.
