Can ramen feed the world? Yes, it Kan! Sustaining workers in a single bowl by day and fuelling chatty, pre-clubbing groups by night, Ramen Kan is one of the classier noodle joints in Bondi Junction. With its sparkly feature wall, choice of high stools or booths and bright picture menu, it makes it easy for newbies and old hands alike. You can add a little interest with crisp takoyaki octopus balls and fresh-tasting seaweed salads, but the main event is the pork-broth ramen, fragrant with ginger and flavoured with shoyu (soy), miso or shio (salt). Fat, white udon noodles make a nice change if you're ramened-out.
