When in doubt, ask someone on the street carrying a tray of six takeaway coffees where the best local coffee is. 'Longshot, ' came the answer. 'It's fabulous.' It is, too, with caring new owners Daniel and Melissa Farr turning out Morgan's coffee ($3.50) at just the right drinking temperature, and the rest of the staff cleaning, polishing and shining as they go. It's a simple set-up, with its outdoor terrace, indoor share tables and stools, sweetcorn fritters and freshly baked muffins, but it's all good enough to make you want to book in for dinner, too.
