This being the owners' seventh restaurant, how could they resist a curious wordplay on the numero in Italian? Thankfully, the food is much more accessible, with excellent value pastas and pizzas. Seafood is well represented with entrees of crispy whitebait or garlic prawns followed by a huge plate of risotto pescatore packed to the gills (ouch!) with frutti di mare. The prima pizza is the Leichhardt, with olives, anchovies and capers - a crispy-based salty sensation best washed down with Peroni. The surroundings are simple, yet elegant, although the large mirrors may reflect just how much you've indulged.
