No New Year’s Eve plans? No worries. We’ve rounded up seven events across Melbourne where you can say goodbye to 2024 – and hello to 2025 – in style. We’ve got dive bars, fancy fine diners, walk-in pubs and more.

You’ve got three different NYE options across three different levels of the CBD’s late-night juggernaut Her.

At Her Bar’s Ground Floor, enjoy a menu of wine bar snacks and shared summer plates before tucking into a classic, steak frites for $85 with lots of drink specials to clink with.

It’s walk-ins only at Music Room, with a line-up of top DJs keeping things rocking over the nine-hour party. On level three, there’ll be a fiery four-course set menu for $85. The rooftop will rock, but alas it’s already sold out.

It’s been a challenging year, to put it mildly, so Heartbreaker Bar is seeing it off in fitting style with their ‘Death to 2024’ New Year’s Eve party ‘that puts a nail in the coffin we’re all ready to bury’. Entry is free but registration is advised to enjoy drink specials, a live DJ and a mission to dance into the dawn and leave 2024 in the dust. Word.

Marionette Liqueur is teaming up with Molli Bar Manager Kayla Saito on a special cocktail menu just for the occasion. Think spritzes, milk punches, glittery blue cosmo riffs and more.
