Woman winched to safety after cliff fall

A WOMAN in her 40’s has been rescued from the area of Spectacle Head at Dodges Ferry following a fall down a cliff.

At about midday on Sunday Tasmania Police and ambulance members responded to the incident.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was activated and the woman was winched from the area.
She was transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
