TODAY concludes our series celebrating some of Hobart’s outstanding living high achievers.
We asked the city’s major schools and colleges to share their lists of outstanding alumni with us.
We invited them to submit names of their most celebrated former students — names which they are proud to claim as their own.
Today we feature Calvin Christian School and the Southern Christian College, two independent schools located at Kingston.
Calvin opened in 1962 as the first parent-controlled Christian school in Australia. High School classes were introduced in 1976 and the school extended to Years 11 and 12 in 1990.
Southern Christian College was founded in 1986, teaching Kindergarten to Grade 10 until 2016 when it introduced Years 11 and 12.
