She previously worked as an academic in the School of Social Sciences at the University of Tasmania. 5/51. Alex Koefman (1995) - neurosurgeon. UTAS graduate Dr Koefman has undertaken specialist training in neurosurgery centres across Australia, including Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and a member of the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia.
